A modern engine
Rebuilt on the Centerboard engine with modern rendering and tooling, keeping the direct-control depth you remember.

Dedicated servers
Matches run on dedicated servers instead of a player’s machine, so games stay stable and do not end when the host leaves.

Faithful to the original
Units, maps and ballistics come from your own Assault Squad 2 install, so it plays the way you remember from the first match.
Bring your own copy
openmow does not ship any Assault Squad 2 content. The launcher finds the copy you already own and imports its assets on first run, so you need Men of War: Assault Squad 2 installed to play. Your openmow account is separate from Steam and works anywhere the launcher runs.
